As part of its commitment to reducing poverty and empowering individuals through practical skill acquisition, Prince Edeoghonghon Azikagbon (PEA) Foundation successfully commenced the Enrolment of beneficiaries enrolled in a six-month Catering and Confectionery Training Programme at Ola-Jo Catering and Services Enterprise on 5th February 2026.

The programme was designed to equip participants with valuable catering and entrepreneurship skills that will enable them to become self-reliant, create sustainable sources of income, and contribute positively to their communities. Through this initiative, beneficiaries will receive intensive hands-on training in various aspects of catering, food production, baking, confectioneries, food hygiene, customer service, and small business management.

The Enrolment ceremony marked the official commencement of the six-month training journey and provided an opportunity for the trainees to be formally welcomed into the programme. Participants expressed gratitude to PEA Foundation and its partners for investing in their future and providing them with a platform to acquire life-changing skills.

This initiative aligns with PEA Foundation’s mission of alleviating poverty, promoting self-sufficiency, and creating opportunities for vulnerable individuals through empowerment programmes and vocational training.

At the end of the training programme, participants are expected to possess practical skills that will prepare them for employment opportunities, self-employment, and the establishment of small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs).
